'In my 20s I had label interest but nothing came of it. Music remained my hobby, but at 42 I realised that my male friends had managed to achieve a career in music. I wasn't sure how they did it, but I knew this was my final chance. I decided to give it one more push. I felt a target of 5 years was reasonable as who wants to see an 'old bird' on stage after that, but I was very wrong. In those five years I figured a lot out, picked brains, went on courses, but it wasn’t until my 5th year that I released my first recording, and also received an award. People love what I do, and still do today. I am a full-time professional musician for corporates, charities, weddings, private functions, churches and educational establishments. It’s been 20 years and along the way I realise there are many who want to achieve their music dreams but don't know how. I like helping and giving back so that you don't have to struggle the way I did'.
